Welcome Dr. Haggerty!

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Haggerty to the Randolph office. Dr. Haggerty attended Emory University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology.  He subsequently obtained his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Following medical school, Dr. Haggerty returned to home in New Jersey and completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Morristown Medical Center.

After completing his residency Dr. Haggerty spent four years as a full-time hospitalist at Newton Medical Center.  He led a  multidisciplinary care team in the diagnosis and treatment of medical/surgical conditions requiring hospitalization, ranging from overnight observations to ICU management of life-threatening illness.

Realizing he had an interest in preventative, holistic, and comprehensive care, Dr. Haggerty decided to continue with his career in the office setting.  He looks forward to caring for patients ages 12 and up, offering special attention to those with chronic health illness, including but not limited to: hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, COPD and chronic kidney disease.

“I have always held a passion for the pursuit of knowledge and how it may be used to help others.  Medicine both allows, and demands a commitment  to continued learning.  My focus and goals begin with effective patient communications so that we may work together in the optimization of health and well-being, and prevention of disease as well as slowing it’s progression. The office setting is where I am able to develop long-standing physician-patient relationships, that are key to healthier living.”
