Welcome Fall

On Monday September 22,  we welcome the official start of fall 2025.  The transition from the hot summer months to the more comfortable temperatures of autumn are now well underway.  As the foliage changes from green to a kaleidoscope of colors, it is time for us all to enjoy activities unique to fall.  While it is important to keep ourselves, families and communities safe, there is no reason not to engage in many of the pleasurable and healthy past times and recreations of the season.

Some ideas which bring joy and relaxation, while maintaining  your budget include:

  • Go apple picking
  • Get out for a hike and observe the changes surrounding you. Smell the crisp morning air.
  • Make a pot of chili and have a  faux tailgate party in your driveway.
  • Pick pumpkins at a local farm. Decorate your home for fall.
  • Go for a cool weather run. Your times will be better than in the summer!
  • Bake some goodies that contain cinnamon and enjoy with fresh cider.
  • Have a campfire on a cool evening and toast marshmallows.
  • Snuggle up with a book and a blanket outside for an early morning treat.
  • Rake up the leaves. Then jump in!

The key to maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing is to keep active and follow safety guidelines. So get going!
