Robert Weinschenk, MD

Robert C. Weinschenk, M.D. is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and an original founder of Andover Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group PA. Dr. Weinschenk has been treating patients in Northern New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania since 1985, and has distinguished himself as a compassionate provider of superior orthopedic care and personalized treatment.

Dr. Weinschenk completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Boston University, where he served as a department preceptor, beginning his freshman year. Outstanding scholarship and academic merit earned him unprecedented, early acceptance into UMDNJ-NJMS, while still in his junior year.

Upon completion of medical school in 1979, Dr. Weinschenk continued his orthopedic training with UMDNJ, which included 2 years of residency in general surgery, 4 years of residency in orthopedic surgery and 3 years of training in sports medicine with the New York Giants. During his last year of residency, Dr. Weinschenk was appointed chief administrative resident.
